The Bergenfield Public Library is pleased to reopen to in-person browsing effective Monday May, 24. Welcome back Bergenfield!
Hours of operation will be Monday-Thursday 10am-8pm, Friday 10am-5pm and Sunday 1pm-5pm. Visitors can stay in the building for up to 1 hour. No one under the age of 14 may enter the Library without a parent or guardian.
Curbside pick up service will still be available. Quiet study rooms and public computers are available on a first come first serve basis. ESL tutoring is permitted for limited sessions as well.
Please note that mask or cloth facial coverings are to be worn by all visitors at all times, regardless of vaccination status. This will be strictly enforced, along with occupancy limits and social distancing requirements. These requirements will be updated in accordance with State guidelines.
When you revisit the Library, you might notice a few physical changes. While the Library was closed to the public, the public computer area was modified and repainted, the building's lighting was upgraded to LED and many of the rooftop HVAC units were replaced with energy efficient models. We hope these changes make the Library more comfortable for our visitors!
