Mayor's Wellness Campaign Kick Off 2023

BERGENFIELD, NJ — Mayor Arvin Amatorio, and the Borough of Bergenfield Health Department in partnership with the New Jersey Health Care Quality Institute are launching their 2023 Mayor’s Wellness Campaign to promote healthy living. This program will include free daily wellness activities over six weeks, starting with Kick-Off Program on Saturday, April 15 at 2:00 pm. At the Kick-Off, there will be registration and weigh-ins to track progress. Sponsors, vendors, and community organizations will have displays on hand to enhance healthy living.
“In 2022 we kicked off the Mayor’s Wellness Campaign at Conlon Hall with great success,” said Mayor Amatorio. “I was amazed at the outpouring of community support from our volunteers, sponsors, and vendors. It was that hard work that earned Bergenfield the New Jersey Care Quality Institute’s 2022 Healthy Town to Watch Award. This year we hope to win the award again through a six-week program with activities every night.
