Bulk Garbage Suspended for April 2020

Due to the exposure risks involved with COVID-19, the Borough of Bergenfield has suspended bulk garbage pickup for all quadrants for April 2020. The next bulk garbage pickup is scheduled for July 2020. However, as of now, all bulk garbage pickup has been suspended. Closer to July 2020, the Borough will assess the COVID-19 exposure risk and revisit the scheduling of bulk garbage pickup. At this time, it is only the bulk garbage pickup that has been suspended. Regular garbage pickup, recycling pickup, and vegetative waste pickup remain on schedule as detailed on your 2020 pickup schedule calendar. The drop-off Recycling Center is still open regular hours - please see the back of your 2020 calendar for location, hours of operation, and types of recyclable material that may be dropped off at the Recycling Center. No garbage (bulk or otherwise) is allowed to be dropped off at the Recycling Center or at the DPW. If you need a 2020 pickup schedule calendar, please visit this link: 2020 Trash & Recycling Pickup Schedule and Guidelines. If you have any questions, please call the DPW Office Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm or send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
