If you wish to make a donation to assist in the recovery efforts in the Philippines, you can provide your donation to the Amercian Red Cross Typhoon Appeal at www.redcross.org.

Various local efforts are also being coordinated at this time.  Monetary donations are currently being accepted by St. John the Evangelist Church, located at 29 N. Washington Avenue in Bergenfield.  Please make checks payable to St. John the Evangelist Church and write Philippine Relief on the memo line.

The Bergenfield 1st Annual Turkey Trot will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Registration starts at 9:00 a.m.; Bergenfield High School Track, 80 South Prospect Avenue. The event is open to runners, walkers, and dogs are welcome, too! T-shirts for the first 100 people to register at turkeydayfunrun.eventbrite.com.

Each participant must donate one non-perishable canned good. All goods will be donated to the Red Cross. The more non-perishable goods you bring gets you more raffle tickets for raffle prizes!
