FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BERGENFIELD, NJ — The Borough of Bergenfield, in partnership with the Mayor and Council and the Department of Public Works, is thrilled to announce the annual Holiday at the Pond event. The festive celebration will take place on Saturday, December 2nd from 1pm-6pm, at the historic Cooper's Pond.
The cherished tradition brings together the community to usher in the holiday season. Santa and his helpers will be in attendance from 1pm-4pm, creating a magical atmosphere for all. The day's activities will culminate in the annual Christmas tree lighting at 5:15pm.
Mayor Arvin Amatorio stated, "Every year, we have the chance to celebrate the holiday season with our friends and neighbors here at Cooper's Pond. Each year, the event gets better, and I want to extend a special thank you to our Department of Public Works and our Recreation Committee for their tireless work that ensures the event runs smoothly."
In addition to the Holiday at the Pond event, the Borough invites everyone to visit Cooper's Pond, a treasured jewel of Bergenfield. Refreshments will be available on a limited basis during the event. This event is for Bergenfield Residents.
Also, keep an eye out for the Fire Department's Chanukah Run and Santa Run later this month. It's a joyous season in Bergenfield, and we can't wait to celebrate with you!
We wish everyone a happy, healthy, and festive holiday season!
