The Mayor and Council of the Borough of Bergenfield will hold a Mayor and Council meeting on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 8:00 P.M and the Urban Parks hearing on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 will take place during said meeting. The purpose of the hearing is to obtain public comment on a grant application to be submitted by the Borough of Bergenfield to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s Green Acres Urban Parks Program. This application proposes the completion of improvements to Borough owned property known as Twin Boro Field located at 100 Twin Borough Lane, Bergenfield, NJ 07621 (Block 3, Lot 214). The application will also be submitted as a rollover application to the Green Acres Park Development Program. The meeting will take place at the Bergenfield Public Library in the Friends Meeting Room located at 50 West Clinton Avenue, Bergenfield, NJ 07621. The Borough Administrator will make a brief presentation followed by a question-and-answer period. All residents are encouraged to attend and participate.
