Voter Registration Deadline - Tuesday, October 18, 2016

Please be advised, the deadline to register to vote in the upcoming General Election is Tuesday, October 18th. The Borough Clerk's office will be open late night until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18th for any residents that would like to register to vote. Please stop in and visit us on the second floor of Borough Hall, room 21. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Borough Clerk's office at 201-387-4055 ext. 6.

Free skin cancer screening on September 28, 2016

The Bergenfield Health Department is sponsoring a free Skin Cancer Screening Program to promote early detection and prompt treatment of skin cancer. The screening is for Bergenfield residents, 18 years and older. A practitioner from the Advanced Laser & Skin Cancer Center of Teaneck will conduct the screening. The screening clinic will be conducted at Bergenfield Borough Hall, 2nd floor, 198 North Washington Avenue, Bergenfield, NJ. Please call the Health Department at 201-387-4055 option 5, to schedule an appointment. Date of screenings: Wednesday, September 28, 2016 between the hours of 11am till 1pm. Please note that this screening is for Bergenfield residents not currently under the care of a dermatologist.

Voter registration deadline for 2016 General Election

Bergen County Superintendent of Elections Patricia DiCostanzo issued a notice that Tuesday, October 18, 2016, is the last day for residents to register to vote for the November 8, 2016, General Election in the State of New Jersey. In order to be eligible to vote, a person must be an American Citizen, be 18 years old on or before November 8, 2016, and be a resident of New Jersey and Bergen County by October 18, 2016.
